Prolotherapy for Torn Dog ACL

Murphy, my 80 pound cattle dog tore his right CCL (cranial cruciate ligament) last summer. Was told that he needed surgery and I would have to wait 3 months for surgery, and still wasn’t guaranteed he would be walking properly. While waiting, I did investigation and came across Dr. Shaun Fauley and his prolotherapy. We started right away and immediately Murphy was able to walk on his bad leg. After two more sessions, he was back to running and jumping on furniture and moving around great! Now this summer, he has just torn his other CCL. I immediately took him back and am starting to go through the prolotherapy regimen for his other leg. He’s back to walking around, albeit gingerly after only one session. I have his second appointment scheduled for October. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Fauley and his prolotherapy! It truly is a remarkable treatment program! I feel any time you can avoid surgery, especially surgery that is not guarantee!
d to work, alternative treatment is the way to go. It has been remarkable what prolotherapy has done for my dog and I am truly grateful for Dr. Fauley and his entire team! I highly recommend anyone whose dogs are having difficulty with walking, whether due to hip or torn CCL, look into this alternative treatment. It is a real shame that more people are just not aware of this fantastic alternative to a very expensive surgery!
